Each season is spectacular and there are outdoor activities for everyone to enjoy. My favorite is Stone Head Nature Preserve.
The Schoolhouse Inn is a rural location convenient to many local communities and activities — situated just 9 miles from Nashville and 12 miles from Brown County State Park, 18 miles from Columbus, 19 miles from Bloomington including Indiana University and 50 miles to Indianapolis. We will do everything we can to make sure the Schoolhouse Inn is ready for your stay. The 1891 Schoolhouse Inn is perfect for a quick getaway, holiday gatherings, family vacation or girl’s weekend. The Inn provides a stunning backdrop for photo shoots, petite events, and makes for a sweet honeymoon.
It is our mission to provide you the safest and cleanest vacation rental in Brown County, so that you will become a guest for a lifetime! From time to time, appliances, hot tub, satellite TV, water, electricity, etc. will break down or malfunction. While we cannot refund any monies due to these issues that may be beyond our control, we will respond as quickly as we can to make repairs and restore amenities as necessary. Depending on the circumstance, a move to a similar property may be necessary.
